98.1 FREE FM is giving YOU the chance to ROCK THE PARK!
Give us your take on any song performed by any band that has rocked Harris Park in London during ROCK THE PARK within the last 11 years. Whether by yourself or with your band get it on video and submit by Sunday, June 22nd at midnight.
On Monday, June 23rd a panel of FREE FM judges will select the top 3 finalists for FREE FM listeners to vote on.
Tuesday, June 24th to Sunday, June 29th FREE FM listeners will vote for their favourite band. The band that receives the most votes will move on to a Battle of the Bands competition July 7th at NORMA JEANS in London where they will be competing against 2 other bands for the opening slot Saturday, July 26th alongside BURTON CUMMINGS WITH THE BURTON CUMMINGS BAND, HUEY LEWIS & THE NEWS, 38 SPECIAL and HEADPINS at ROCK THE PARK 11, powered by Samsung. The Battle of the Bands will be comprised of finalists from the same competition run at our sister stations Classic Rock 94.5 in Wingham and K106 in Sarnia.
The winner of the Battle of The Bands on July 7th will be given the opportunity to play LIVE at ROCK THE PARK on SATURDAY JULY 26th for a 25 minute set from 3:30-3:55 PLUS 10 WRISTBANDS for ROCK THE PARK SATURDAY JULY 26th. (winner must be available to play at this event). The set must be comprised of Classic Rock Covers and ONE original in the middle of the set.
MUST BE 19 YEARS OF AGE TO ENTER.
