[Interview] Bob Ezrin: Legendary Canadian Producer

When I first heard I would have the opportunity to interview legendary Canadian producer, Bob Ezrin, a flurry of questions immediately started racing through my head—where do I start? How much time do I get with him? Can I convince him to share a story about every iconic album he’s ever been a part of?

Have you seen his discography? Pink Floyd “The Wall”, Peter Gabriel’s eponymous debut, Kiss “Destroyer”, pretty much everything Alice Cooper has ever done, and so on, and so on, and so on…

Every so often you experience one of those moments in your career that you will remember for a lifetime. This was one of those moments for me. Talking to Bob Ezrin about creating rock n roll was  thrill beyond words. I could have interviewed him all day.

However, I spent about 20 captivating minutes with him and we spoke about everything from meeting Alice Cooper for the first time to finding art and beauty in literally everything around us.

I hope you enjoy listening to this interview with Bob Ezrin as much as I did conducting it!

Bonus: hearing about his first meeting with Alice Cooper while hanging out with Allan F. Nicholls who played Johnny Upton in SlapShot!
