Assisting Athletes Policy:
Reach the Beach is happy to offer no fee entry for participants who are assisting another athlete who cannot safely participate without their assistance. For example: guiding a blind or visually impaired athlete or assisting a physically impaired athlete. For the safety of all participants, ‘Assisting Athletes’ are required to remain within arms reach of their partners at all times throughout the race. Both participants will receive all applicable race benefits, such as race swag, kit, ect.
To receive the no fee entry, ‘Assisting Athletes’ should email [email protected] or phone 519-931-1352 for a discount code, noting the name of the athlete they will be assisting.
We will not be able to refund under any circumstances. This is a fundraising event to benefit local charities. Your fee will be considered a “donation” to the organization. This includes but limited to inclement weather and acts of mother nature.
Runners and Walkers only – No Pets or wheeled items allowed on the course (except service dogs, strollers & wheelchairs). Strollers please start at the back of the pack and keep to the side for the safety of everyone involved.
