Former city council candidate John Fyfe-Miller is opening up the Bud Gowan Building, now known as Featherbone Place at 387 Clarence St., for a one day book sale and community party organized by Brown & Dickson Booksellers.

The landmark architectural gem will be put to good use with a collaborative end of summer party including the Grickle Grass Festival, Print London, LondonFuse, CHRW and other organizations to promote the downtown community and a love of books. Attendees can expect to find local produce, lemonade, original art and a wide array of books and paper collectibles for sale.

The event runs from 12 – 5 pm. Official afterparty will be at Motown Party, Call the Office, 9 pm. A ticket giveaway will be held at the event. Follow hashtag #bookparty to find out more information.
