Detroit Tigers’ Pitcher Takes 106MPH Line Drive To The Face
Jordan Zimmermann of the Detroit Tigers wasn’t in yesterday’s game long. He was only a couple of pitches into his outing when he took a gut wrenching come-backer to the face:

As you could see, he left the field under his own power. But you’d have to imagine he’ll be out for a few weeks as they examine him for fractures and follow concussion protocols.
Good to see he was able to walk away though.
